Welcome to Bird at Heart

Bird at Heart is a not for profit, all out of pocket bird rescue. We take in birds of all kinds, sick, injured, neglected or simply birds that just can no longer stand their current owner and want to find a better human companion.

Unlike many other bird rescues, we know our limits. When our main shelter is full, we let you know. We do NOT take in more than we can care for. Attention, good nutrition and health is paramount. We also have various small foster homes that care for birds throughout monroe county.

Bird at Heart is committed to quality care, individual attention and supreme nutrition. Our adoption fees are reasonable, we care more about finding birds good loving forever homes than making a profit ... unlike some other local bird rescues (you know who you are).
